Securing Event Success with Professional Photos

Corporate events are a significant investment, from both a time and financial perspective. To truly secure a successful return on this investment, your businesses should consider hiring a professional photographer. Here's why:

  • A professional outlook: Pro shots enhance your corporate image, conveying expertise and professionalism that reflects positively on your event and company.
  • Hassle-free: Assigning photography tasks to staff members can lead to inconsistency and added pressure. Professional photographers ensure high-quality results, leaving your team to concentrate on their specific roles.
  • Perfect editing: Post-production editing can often make or break a photo. This area is where professionals truly shine, transforming good photos into incredible visuals.

Reaping the Benefits of Professional Headshots

Professional headshots offer a myriad of advantages, becoming an essential part of many corporate events:

  • Engaging Social Media Content: Headshots are perfect for updating social media profiles and company websites, reinforcing your team's professionalism across digital platforms.
  • Strong First Impressions: A professionally taken headshot can offer an impactful first impression, exuding trust and reliability.
  • Enhanced PR: Press releases, articles, and blog posts benefit from professional headshots, offering additional depth and personalisation to your messaging.

Ultimately, investing in professional photographers and headshots for your next corporate event can significantly elevate your event's professionalism and success. By ensuring top-quality photography, your business positions itself positively in the corporate landscape and beyond.

Event Photography Ideas

There are a number of photography executions you can use at your event, depending on the type of event and photographer you work with.

You should be aiming for hero content such as the venue, atmosphere, group of people networking and stage photos. These are all your stock photos (get it?) at an event.

Where you can go further is to turn your photographer into an engagement tool. While you might have them roam for a period of time, you could also get them to setup a backdrop in a corner and have people come up, get their headshots taken and the photographer will send those images to you, to then pass on to the individual.

Headshots will take your event from standard to memorable. I still use a headshot from an event I attended years ago and the file name is still linked to that company.

How to find an Event Photography

There are a few great ways to find event photographers, depending on how much time you have spare.

If you haven’t already used a trusted photographer, or they are busy, there are three ways you can find one.

  1. Staff or Publisher contacts where they can refer someone
  2. Research on Google and Insta
  3. Using a service like BizziEvents to compare corporate event photographers and reach out to whichever is your favourite.
