The Langham Hotel is the definition of oppulance. It is a luxurious boutique hotel set in the city, but does not in anyway give off city vibes. Views are either over the harbour or into Observatory Hill Park. With an on-site Day Spa that is often touted as the best in Sydney, if you are planning to host an unforgettable meeting or conference, you must consider the Langham.

With 2 bookable venue rooms, plus nearby breakout areas, you are able to host events for up to 200 guests.

The Ballroom is the perfect spot for conferences and gala dinners, with plenty of natural light, rich carpet and hanging chandeliers. The Ballroom can fit 200 people.
The Drawing Room, located opposite The Ballroom offers high-tech equipment, a VIP Room able to be partitioned out and room for 360.

Pair the rooms for a full day and evening event. From our experience at an all day Conference at The Langham, it is an event your attendees won't forget.

While officially The Langham has 2 event venues, able to be configured in multiple ways, there are a few options to host an incredible meeting. If you are looking to wow over breakfast, there is a private room in the restaurant that can be booked on request and if you are wanting a much more private meeting, consider booking one of the hotel rooms and asking for the items to be shifted to accomodate your team.

Event Venue Accessibility at The Langham Hotel

To the best of our ability the venue has the below accessibility inclusions.
A doorman will greet you at the entrance, will open the door for you and if required, will direct you to the adjacent ramp to get up the stairs to the main lobby. The main event rooms are all on the lobby level, however there are some carpeted areas. Plenty of seating is located throughout the property for breaks.

On-site Accommodation is available for event attendees. As a boutique hotel, The Langham doesn't have a large volume of rooms, instead each room is spacious and luxurious. This is why it is paramount you raise an accommodation request when enquiring about your event.

There are 3 different room types, and 3 different suites.

On site dining options:

Kitchens on Kent offers a range of A La Carte or Continental menus 7 days a week. Currently undergoing some changes, Lunch and Dinner will be offered to guests in other rooms.
6:30am – 10:30am, daily

The Observatory Bar, which is also bookable for events, offers incredible cocktails aligned to star signs. The bar is open 7 nights a week for dinner and lunch on weekends.
3pm – 11pm, Monday to Thursday
12pm – 11pm, Friday to Sunday

Trust us when we say the food and drinks options at The Langham is something to look forward to.

BizziEvents Corporate Event Venue Review: The Langham Hotel

We were fortunate enough to be given a tour around the venue, meetings rooms, restaurants, bars and hotel rooms in our venue review.

We met with Valentina, Sales Manager - MICE. First stop was to head into the restaurant to grab a coffee, talk about the Langham Group and the venue, and learning some of the events secrets.

One of our favourite event secrets? If you are looking for a morning meeting venue for 4 people, perhaps an executive breakfast, you can book out the private dining room in the restaurant.

Valentina then commenced the venue tour. Being a luxury boutique hotel, we were able to cover a lot of ground, and our first stop was each of the event rooms. With multiple setup options there is plenty of space for anything from a workshop, all the way up to a gala. Of course, if you are planning a weekend event you will be competing against weddings, with the venue able to host up to 200 guests.

As for on site accommodation, your guests will be spoilt, regardless of room choice. A rare one for the city, the water views are great, but if you have city views, you are staring directly into Observatory Hill.
