Birrunga Gallery & Dining is the only Indigenous-owned & operated commercial Cultural hub in Meanjin (Brisbane) CBD.
We provide a platform and guidance for First Nations Artists and work closely with incarcerated individuals and community to help explore art as a means to process their trauma and experiences.
We also work alongside established and emerging artists as they define their history and Culture in an eclectic display of visual narratives.
Meeting Rooms and Event Spaces
Birrunga Gallery’s large open plan space is perfect for any function. Tables and seating can be arranged and customized for 200 people or more casual events can host up to 300 people standing.
Catering at Birrunga Gallery
Our kitchen offers a wide variety of catering options for any event. From small casual gatherings to large corporate events, we can help you tailor a unique package that is sure to impress.
Our menu utilises ethically sourced Native spices and ingredients from a range of trusted Australian suppliers.
Drawing inspiration from traditional Bush Tucker, we create unique dishes and flavours that would be uncommon to find in modern kitchens today.
We also offer offsite catering to Brisbane CBD area.
