About the Main Bar

The primary floor of The Burdekin, opening onto Oxford St, the Main Bar comes equipped with a professional DJ booth, VOID sound systems and 6m2 p3 LED screen. With a bar stretching the length of the room, it has iconic golden-framed mirrors, multiple high-top tables, leather furnishings and plenty of space for dancing.

About the Mini Bar
Capacity: 140
The Burdekin’s main band room that has seen headline national and international acts perform, the Mini Bar features a private bar illuminated by neon and LED signage, staging with full AV production and 5m2 LED screen, and private unisex bathroom facilities. Perfect for intimate gigs, parties and celebrations.

About the Viper Room
Capacity 140
A warehouse-style space perfect for parties where dancing is a necessity, complete with your own personal bar. The room is partially separated with a lounge and a dance section with two LED moving heads, strobe and DJ booth. The level also features a private smoking area and bathroom.
About the Rooftop
Capacity 85
Oxford Street’s first rooftop bar, launching in late 2020. A casual/chic open bar and space offering sweeping views of Darlinghurst, Hyde Park and Oxford St, it features high tables, festoon lighting, custom booths, tiled tables and elegant hardwood decking. With umbrellas and winter heaters to cover all weathers, it’s perfect for open-air events. Don’t forget to take a selfie by the neon sparrows flying across the green photo wall!
About the Lava Lounge
Capacity 140
The Lava Lounge is the Burdekin’s stylish top-floor lounge bar. It features a large lounge section set under a stunning, hand-crafted Italian chandelier and a retro-chic bar. With high views looking out onto Oxford St, it offers an intimate dance floor and DJ booth set under illuminated disco balls, plus bathroom facilities shared with the Burdekin Rooftop.
